PARK DAYS

Wednesdays, June 21 - July 26 | 10am - 11:30am

Summer is here and we are so excited to hang out with you! Each Wednesday morning join us at a local park to meet other families and play together. We will bring some games and a snack! Can’t wait to see you there!


YOUTH

SERVICE BEACH DAYS

Thursdays, June 22 - July 27 | 10am-2pm

Come join in the fun as we garden at the Homeless Garden Project and walk over to Natural Bridges State Park to picnic and hang at the beach! 


YOUNG ADULTS

Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm in The Abbey

Throughout the summer, we’ll host fun events: beach picnics, volleyball, bowling, game nights and more. Invite your friends!

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

1st and 3rd Wednesday/month 11am-12pm

The Vintage Moms’ MeetUp is for anyone with preschool age and younger kiddos looking for a safe space to connect with other moms in the area.  


WORSHIPING

MONTHLY PRAYER NIGHTS

First Sunday of month | 6:30pm-8pm

We are told to “approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need” (Hebrews 4:16), and we are creating space to do that as a community! We gather in the Fireside room. No need to register--just show up!!

COMMUNITY GROUP

LEADERSHIP COHORT 

Sundays, August 6 - Sept 10 | 5pm-7pm

Are you ready to step into group leadership? Join us for five weeks as we dig into the core elements of group leadership including Bible study methods, facilitation, shepherding, and hospitality. This cohort is designed to equip individuals or couples to lead a community group here at Vintage Faith, and those who take part will be launched out in fall to start  their own group!

SUMMER DEEP DIVE CLASSES

Tuesdays, June 20 - July 25 | 6:30-8:15pm

Join us for 5 weeks of diving deeper into God’s Word and how it applies to our lives.

This summer we are offering classes for upper elementary, middle school, high school, and adults. 

HIGH SCHOOL DEEP DIVE DEVO

Sundays, July 7 - August 27 | 12:45-2pm

Let’s enjoy lunch and conversation. Read about people’s stories and hear words of wisdom as we go through the book “The Jesus I Wish I Knew in High School” after the 11am gathering on Sundays!


COMMUNITY

THIS SUMMER, WE HAVE SOME INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL BE HOSTING A SERIES OF MEETUPS! 

These MeetUps are for those 16+ years old (unless otherwise noted) and are great ways for our community to stay connected outside of Sunday gatherings over the summer. We would encourage you to invite friends and neighbors who might not normally attend a Sunday Gathering to attend one of these.

MISSIONAL

HOMELESS GARDEN PROJECT

Volunteer at Sustain Supper

The Homeless Garden Project is looking for volunteers to support at their annual “Sustain Supper” benefit dinner, which provides funding for the efforts of the HGP to provide individuals experiencing homelessness with valuable job training and build bridges between the housed and unhoused communities of Santa Cruz. 

For the dinner on Saturday, June 17th, they are in need of: 

Set-up Crew (20 volunteers): Volunteers in this role would assist with setting up tables, chairs, and other necessary areas. Time: 12 pm to 4 pm.

Servers (20 volunteers): Volunteers in this role would help serve food during the event. Time: 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Tear-down Crew (20 volunteers): Volunteers in this role would assist with cleaning up after the event. Tasks include putting away chairs, gathering tables, and handling additional items.  Time: 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

REBUILD TEEN CHALLENGE PAJARO

Teen Challenge Monterey Bay has suffered terrible damage to their Men’s Center and Rescue Mission. We are partnering with other local churches to help get them back on the road to recovery.

Donations and skilled laborers are needed to continue the process of recovering their property for the good purposes it serves. 

Their immediate needs to provide for the return of their guests are:

* Twin size Sheets, blankets, pillows for at least 24 beds. * Cots and sleeping bags * Commercial washers and dryers (gas dryers) * Commercial refrigerators and freezers *Two gas stoves for family center * Water heater for family center

Repairs they could use help with:

People to come help deep clean * Gas line repair * Plumbers (clean drains, repair damaged gas line) * Electricians (test outlets, upgrade electricity) * Sheetrock * Carpet (for the chapel area) * Tile
