Local Compassion

Local Compassion Ministry exists to bring wholeness, purpose, and peace to the poor, voiceless, and forgotten in our wider community by sharing the hope of the Gospel and the love of Jesus through service, action, and outreach.

OUR CURRENT PARTNERSHIPS

Pregnancy Resource Center of Santa Cruz

The PRC provides competent, compassionate and free medical care for women and families throughout Santa Cruz County.

Foster the City

Foster the City (FTC) is a coalition of churches with the vision to have at least one foster family in every church until every child has a home.

Arukah Project

The purpose of the Arukah Project is to restore, renew and rebuild the lives of survivors of sex trafficking in Santa Cruz County and beyond. Their integrated approach engages and empowers the local church, businesses, government agencies, and community stakeholders to collaborate to bring wholeness and freedom.

Local Compassion is growing at Vintage!

We have some incredible lay leaders who have answered God’s calling on their heart to serve as liaisons to the ministries and organizations we partner with. Join us in praying that God would continue to place the calling on more leaders as we grow our list of partnerships!

We are always happy to discuss additional opportunities to serve; though we may not be able to form the same level of partnership with each organization, we desire to see the body of Christ operating in their giftings as we serve our community, actively operating as the hands and feet of Jesus.
