Dan Kimball | Mission & Leadership
Dan was born and raised in New Jersey, in a suburban town near New York City. He played drums in a rockabilly and punk band during his college years and after graduation the band moved to London, England to pursue music. Dan was not raised going to a church, but while in college he began wondering whether the Bible was a mythical story and people simply became Christians because of their geographic and cultural context. When the band ended, he moved to Israel for several months and continued studying the Bible which eventually led to him put faith in Jesus and become a Christian.
Dan has a doctorate from George Fox University and is on faculty at Western Seminary where he teaches on the history and theology of worship as well as Christian apologetics. He is the Director of The ReGeneration Project which whose mission is to see younger generations truly know what and why they believe along with seeing question asking, study and learning as a wonderful part of what it means to follow Jesus.
