Dan Kimball | Mission & Leadership
Dan was born and raised in New Jersey, in a suburban town near New York City. He played drums in a rockabilly and punk band during his college years and after he graduated from Colorado State University, the band moved to London, England to pursue music. Dan was not raised going to a church, but while in college he began wondering whether the Bible was a mythical story and people simply became Christians because of their geographic context of living in American suburbia. When the band ended, he moved to Israel for several months and continued studying the Bible and comparative religions which eventually led to him put faith in Jesus and become a Christian. He has served in ministry for over 25 years and is passionate about teaching everyone the importance of reading, studying and knowing the Scriptures.
Dan has a doctorate from George Fox University and masters degree from Western Seminary. He is an adjunct faculty mentor and professor at George Fox University. Along with Jay Kim he co-founded and heads up the ReGeneration Project.
