Check out these opportunities to make a difference in kid's lives! Vintage Kids volunteers are committed to growing as leaders and Jesus-followers as we train, learn and pray together as a team. We have college students, parents and grandparents that serve with our Vintage Kids, as well as middle school and high school kids that serve as Jr. Volunteers. Each volunteer fills out an extensive application and is interviewed, background checked and has had their references called before they can be placed in a classroom.
Nursery (0 - 20months): Volunteers get to hold and care for our littlest VFC-ers!
Movers (2 year olds): This class of 1 & 2 year-olds is a wonderful place to love kids by playing with them and helping them have fun with simple activities.
Explorers (3 year olds): This is another joy-filled classroom where kids continue to love to play and explore. We also use a simple Bible lesson for this class and everything we do ties in to the 4-5 minute Bible story that we teach.
Adventurers (4 & 5 year olds): This is such a fun age of exploration, questions and a growing ability to understand more about God. We use a great curriculum for this class that helps us teach the kids biblical truths in a hands-on and interactive way.
Elementary Small Groups (K/1, 2/3 & 4/5):
Our Vintage Elementary Kids begin Sundays in small groups, then they all head to Large Group for an interactive Bible story and musical worship time.
After Large Group, the kids head back to their small groups to do fun activities that help them think about how they can apply what they learned about God to their lives.
We would love leaders to commit to every week or every other week for this age because our goal is to build trust and relationship between the small group leaders and the kids.
Large Group Production Team: Do you enjoy storytelling, song-leading and/ or running media? This is a great team to get involved with if you enjoy elementary kids, even if you are just learning or want to grow in any of these skills.
Prep Team: Your role is to work behind the scenes to help prepare and gather all of the supplies that we need to make Sunday great for the kids. We can work with your schedule during the week.
Hosting Team: In this role you have the privilege of welcoming families as they first enter Vintage Faith Church. Your main job is to help people feel welcomed, cared for and comfortable. If you are a people-person, this is a great place to use your gifts to meet new people and be a part of making their experience a great one!
