We live in a time and culture that values busyness and productivity over rest and restoration. While our hectic schedules may be filled with good things, making time to slow down, rest and restore is often thrown to the wayside.
All around us, we can see the rhythms that God has created: night and day, sleep and wake, rest and work. The rhythms of nature, and the practice of Sabbath shed important light on our design and need for rest.
Join us in the Sanctuary on Saturday, February 23rd from 9am-12pm for [Rest]ore: a Women’s Mini-Retreat. This is a gathering for women in all life stages to come together to connect, dig in and explore the need, benefits and ability for each of us to [Rest]ore, through Sabbath practices and rest. We’ll do so through musical worship, Scripture, shared stories, and experiential stations. Light brunch and free childcare provided.
