Recalibrate (verb): to make small changes to an instrument so that it measures accurately . To change the way you do or think about something
Joy (noun) : a source or cause of delight
It seems there are a lot of hurting, depressed, weary, stressed, and anxious women in the world today (and aren’t we all at certain times?). The hustle and bustle of the world we live in, the things that cause us stress, anxiety, hurt, etc.…they can all steal our joy and warp our perspective of God, ourselves, and faith. It’s time we recalibrate joy in our hearts and minds.
Join us in the Sanctuary on Saturday, October 19th from 9am-12pm for Recalibrating Joy: a Women’s Mini-Retreat. This is a gathering for women in all life stages to come together to connect, dig in, explore and define what joy really is (and is not), what distracts us from joy, and ways we can recognize, receive, and experience joy in our lives every day. We’ll do so through musical worship, Scripture, shared stories, and experiential stations. Light brunch and free childcare provided.
