Vintage Annoucements

Being part of a church is really being part of a community and family on a mission together. Church and Mission is our "membership" class where we will process through what it means to be part of the community here. We will be discussing the history, values and vision of our church, our leadership structure, a theological overview of "church", our core doctrinal beliefs and how we approach theology.  We will also cover what it means to be a "worshiping-community-of-missional-theologians," what it means to be an active part of the mission of VFC according to your unique giftedness, and any questions you may have about the church or what it means to be joining the mission. (Click title for more details) 



"Vantage" is Vintage Faith's College Group. We meet Tuesday Nights @ 7:00PM in the Main Sanctuary. Dinner is provided every Tuesday and the night consists of musical worship, teaching, and small group discussion, (We promise we'll NEVER play any games) we also typically all go out for dessert together afterward. On Saturday Evening, February 18th, Dawn Jackson and Lindsey Cooper from our Kids Ministry and The Vantage College Group want to serve the families of Vintage Faith Church by providing a "Valentines Day" free Babysitting session called "Vantage Night of Love". We would love to bless you and your family in this way! Parents, please RSVP to lindsey@vintagechurch.org by 2/12/12.

The book chosen to review in February is Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant by Anne Tyler. Tyler's novel is a character study, and there is no author out there who does character driven novels as well as Tyler. Beautiful, harsh, endearing, absorbing all describe this wonderful story of the Tull family. As Pearl Tull's life spirals down, Tyler infuses the characters with hope and gives the reader a deep satisfying story to remember long after the last page. If you are in your 20s or 30s and looking for a group of people to experience genuine community, come check out the 20/30s ministry every Wednesday night here at Vintage Faith Church in the Fireside room. Our mission as the 20/30s group is to foster community with God and each other through service, holistic worship, spiritual discipline, and adventure! (click title for more details)

Are you a mom looking to get out with your little ones? Bring your infant - preschool age kids to the Vintage Mom's Meet Up every Wednesday morning from 10:00am - 12:00pm. This is a fun, safe space to bring your kids to play and get to know other moms in our community.

We have a ton of opportunities for Middle School and High School Students to get connected, meet other kids their age, talk about stuff that really matters and explore what it means to live for Jesus (click on title for details)
